- "How was society affected by war photography during World War One?" I chose this questions because I really like photography and I wanted to know how powerful photography was during war times while getting the history of photography at the same time
- I knew roughly the history of photography but I did not know that much about war photography specifically
- I hoped to discover the impact photography had on society during war
- I learned that photography strongly impacted the society and the war itself in ways I would not have expected. For example, war photography led to the introduction of censorship and manipulation within the media.
- I chose to include a research essay, a poem, a photography project, and a recipe. I chose an informative research paper because I was to inform people about the effects of photos of war for the reasons that it is not widely known. I chose to do a poem because like photographs you can interpret poems any way you feel and there is no wrong answer. Also, I felt a photo project was appropriate with the topic I chose. I did a recipe to add to my project and to help the audience understand more about war photography
- I included sources in to my project fairly easily, especially within my essay and my photo project. In my essay, I restated some of my sources that I felt clearly explained my research question. In my photo project I used war photographs I found in my research as my inspiration.
- I feel I was very successful in incorporating my sources into my project because my theme is clear, concise, and follows my research well.
- I learned that photograph is one of the most influential things during war and that war photos have lasting influences on society
